    Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership Virtual Information Session

    Whether you're looking to be a superintendent or university leader, Central Michigan University's doctorate in educational leadership can help you get there. You'll focus on contemporary issues facing PK-12 or higher education in this online program, which is meant for working professionals. By combining theory and practice, it will give you the skills to transform any educational organization.

    As a doctoral candidate in educational leadership, you will:

    • Begin and end your program with a cohort of fellow students, meeting online every other Saturday. You'll meet in person twice a year, in the summer.
    • Online sessions are conducted in real-time. You'll engage with fellow students and faculty and get immediate feedback.
    • Gain hands-on field experience in an internship. You'll work closely with your advisor and institution to match your duties to your research goals.
    • Candidates in the K-12 concentration will qualify to take the Praxis SSA and earn your Michigan Central Office Certificate.
