    The MA in Counseling program prepares you for a successful career in service to others within the educational or private sectors. Through intense supervised counseling experiences and a placed internship, you will learn how to assess and evaluate groups and individuals, interpret scientific research, identify philosophical issues, apply industry best practices, and maintain the highest ethical standards.

    All coursework and training experiences are based on the standards established by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). Coursework may meet the requirements to be a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Michigan.

    • Clinical Mental Health
    • Addictions Counseling
