Transfer Visit Day (an admissions visit program) is distinct from the mandatory Transfer Orientation Session, during which course scheduling takes place after admission and enrollment deposit submission to CMU.

Prospective transfer students participating in Transfer Visit Day can partake in activities such as understanding the application and scholarship process, touring facilities with an academic liaison, and receiving a credit evaluation.

Once you have paid or deferred your enrollment reservation deposit, you are eligible to schedule your Transfer Orientation Session. Orientation registration becomes available in October for Spring semester admitted students and in early February for Summer/Fall semester admitted students.

Transfer Visit Day Itinerary (may be subject to change):
12:00 p.m. - Check-in with Admissions in Park Library
12:15 p.m. - Transfer Admissions Presentation
Learn about the admissions process, scholarships, and student support as well as hear from staff from our Career Development and Student Business Service Offices
1:15 p.m. - Meet your College Session
Meet with your academic college liaison to tour specific buildings to chat about what your college has to offer and review your transfer credits
3:00/3:30 p.m. - Campus Tour (Optional) or Drop-in appointment with Financial Aid or Student Business Services (pending questions)
